How it works
Place a hold
Log in (using your library card and pin) to the JCLS online catalog and place a hold on the item(s) of your choice.
Select “Lockers at Shady Cove”
When placing a hold, select “Lockers at Shady Cove” as the location you’d like to pick up your items.
Your hold is ready
When your hold is ready you will receive a notification through your preferred communication method. Be sure to pick your holds up within 7 days or they will be re-shelved.
Picking up items at the book locker
Use the book locker screen to input your library card number. The locker with your holds will open.
Enjoy!
You’re all set! All items will be checked out under your library account.

Do I have to pick up all of my items?
Yes. All items in your locker will be checked out under your account.
How do I return items I have picked up at the book locker?
Return your items as you normally would through the library book drop. Do not return your items to the book locker.
Are book lockers available anywhere else?
Right now Shady Cove is our only location that offers the book lockers. However, we are hopeful of adding more in the future.
How do I place a hold for the Lockers at Shady Cove in the catalog?
Place a hold as you usually would and select “Lockers at Shady Cove” for the pickup location. * Please note that it will be listed under “L” alphabetically.
