Learn about fire safety with Ashland Fire & Rescue. Kids will get to climb inside a fire engine, hold a fire hose, and see fire fighters put on all their gear. We’re challenging teens to be water conservation leaders in their households this summer. Pick up a kit with a copy of Neal Shusterman’s dystopian novel Dry, a reusable water bottle, and a water conservation challenge sheet. Conserve water this month and beyond!
Take & Make: Create Your Own Superhero, 3+ YRS
Available starting Tuesday, June 22
Create superhero “action figures” from cardstock and brads. This kit encourages kids to remember that “with great power comes great responsibility,” and to think about people in their community that fit that theme: teachers, firefighters, and family members, as well as costumed superheroes.
