Medford, OR (April 2, 2025) – Jackson Country Library Services is turning the page to National Library Week, which runs Sunday, April 6 through Saturday, April 12. This week-long celebration is a great reminder of the many free resources and events offered through the library. To commemorate, JCLS has teamed up with local food trucks for the second year!
15 participating food trucks will give out exclusive “Your Brain is Hungry” stickers and will offer a 10% discount to customers who present their library card when they order. It’s an effort to promote reading and good local eats. Your brain and your stomach will thank you.
The participating Rogue Valley food trucks includes Victory Dogs, PNW Toasted Cheese, Blaze-N-Monkeys, Scoops & Sips, Super Smash Burger, Snoball Donuts, Yummy Num Nums, Siano’s Karribean Cookhouse, Rolling Smoke BBQ Company, Limon Y Sal Food Truck, Mary Jane’s Bento, Backyard Eats, The Flying Flatbread, Got Balls Meatball Truck, and Nomad Kitchen. Tag JCLS and the food truck you visit for a chance to get featured on our social accounts!
JCLS will also feature a Draw Your Own Leapy! Contest for the whole month of April. Participants will have the chance to design a sticker of JCLS’s ambitious amphibian mascot, Leapy! The winning drawing(s) will be turned into a sticker in September for Library Card Sign-up Month. We don’t have any guidelines for your Leapy creations (he’s a very versatile frog). All you have to do is return your drawing to your local library or post it on social media and tag us! We look forward to seeing your submissions and having your Leapy design in our libraries!
