Game card incentivizes residents to explore downtown businesses and visit the library
Medford, Oregon (April 27, 2023) — Jackson County Library Services’ (JCLS) Medford Library will promote downtown businesses during National Small Business Week, Sunday, April 30 through Saturday, May 6 with “Downtown Quest,” a game that incentivizes Medford residents to explore downtown businesses and visit the Medford Library.
Residents of all ages are invited to participate by picking up a “Downtown Quest” game card at the Medford branch (or game cards may be printed HERE). Visit and get your card stamped by at least five of the 16 participating downtown businesses — no purchase is necessary. Return your card to the library to get a coupon for the Friends Bookstore. Completed cards will also be entered in a raffle for prizes from participating businesses, including a free admission to Crunch Time Escape Room, gift cards for Solid Ground Coffee, and other downtown treats.
“This is a great opportunity for downtown businesses to support each other,” said Downtown Medford Association Interim Executive Director Annie Jenkins. “The library is a key partner in the downtown area, and we look forward to working with them.” Learn more about the Downtown Medford Association at downtownmedford.org.
