Medford, Oregon (February 23, 2023) — Join Erika Bare, Assistant Superintendent for Ashland Public Schools, and Diane Berry, Counseling and Behavioral Health Teacher on Special Assignment (TOSA) for the Ashland School District, for a discussion on “Youth Mental Health and Suicide Prevention.” All are welcome to attend this free program on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. at the Medford Library, 205 South Central Avenue.
Erika Bare has worked in education since 2001. In her current role, she has the privilege of leading Student Services, Special Education, Counseling and Behavioral Health, and Elementary Programs. Bare began her education journey as a special educator, then served as a high school and an elementary school principal. In each role, she was driven to ensure all students have the supports they need to thrive both emotionally and academically.
Diane Berry is a school social worker and school counselor. She has worked at the elementary, middle, and high school levels for 25 years. Currently she works to coordinate and support Ashland School District’s K-12 Child Development Specialists, Behavior Health Specialists, and School Counselors. Berry is passionate about understanding, appreciating, and supporting our children’s unique journeys toward healthy, connected, and caring young adulthood.
