Medford, Oregon (September 20, 2021)—Jackson County Library Services (JCLS) will host free flu shots with specified insurance* & COVID-19 vaccine clinics at the following branches:
Ashland Library on Tuesday, September 21 from 11:30 a.m. –1:00 p.m.
Rogue River Library on Tuesday, September 21 from 2:30–3:30 p.m.
Medford Library on Friday, September 24 from 11:30–1:00 p.m.
Eagle Point Library on Friday, September 24 from 2:30–3:30 p.m.
This service is available for free to the community. Walk-ins are welcome.
After mandating COVID-19 vaccination (or weekly testing) for all staff during the August 18, 2021 board meeting, the JCLS Board of Directors recommended Wellness 2000 to provide free vaccine clinics for staff and patrons. Nurses from Wellness 2000 will administer both flu shots and the Moderna COVID-19 vaccinations. Flu shots are available for all ages. The Moderna vaccine is only available for adults ages 18+. Please wear a mask to your appointment.
*Free flu shot with the following insurance: Regence BlueCross BlueShield, PacificSource, Kaiser, Medicare, and Medicaid/Oregon Health Plan (OHP).
