Types of Storytimes:

 

Babies (0-12 months)

Babies in the Library storytimes are for pre-walking babies (0-12 months). Early literacy skills are taught within a thirty-minute storytime of songs, bounces, and reading, followed by a half-hour of play and chat time.

Wobblers (12-36 months)

Wobblers, the next step after Babies in the Library, is for babies, ages 12-36 months, who are not quite ready to sit through the preschool storytime.

Babies/Wobblers Some branches offer a Babies and Wobblers combined program tailored for smaller groups.

Toddlerobics (Ages 2+)

Toddlerobics: Movement, Music, and Me!  Children ages 2 and up can exercise both mind and body by participating in a range of simple exercises. Attendees will also participate in music games so children can sing and dance to songs.

Preschool (Ages 3-5)

Preschool Storytime – Bring your preschoolers (ages 3-5) to enjoy stories, rhymes, songs and fun at the library. A great opportunity to encourage an interest in books and reading and help young children develop important socialization skills. Older and younger siblings are welcome.
