Beanstack is a super fun way to track your reading adventures and join exciting challenges! Whether you’re a kid, a student, or just love to read, Beanstack makes it easy to log the books you read, set fun reading goals, and earn cool badges along the way. You can even participate in awesome reading challenges hosted by JCLS, with rewards to keep you motivated! With personalized book recommendations based on your interests, you’ll always have something exciting to read next.
How it Works
1. Create an Account
You begin by creating a free Beanstack account. This can be done through their website or mobile app, available for iOS and Android.
You can set up an individual account or create an account for a child if you’re managing reading goals for them.
2. Track Your Reading
After creating an account, you can start adding books you’ve read. This can be done by searching for the book title or scanning the book barcode.
Beanstack allows you to log your reading progress by entering the number of pages read or the time spent reading.
For children or others who may not log their own reading, parents or teachers can enter data on their behalf.
3. Participate in Reading Challenges
Beanstack often features reading challenges like “Summer Reading Program” or “Rogue Reads.” These challenges motivate readers to read more by providing incentives, such as badges or rewards for completing the challenge.
4. Earn Badges and Rewards
As you meet reading milestones, you earn digital badges as rewards (seen right). These can help you stay motivated and visualize your reading achievements.
