We want to hear from you!

Help shape the future of your libraries! Jackson County Library Services is developing a long-range plan for all of our library facilities. The experiences and perspectives of Jackson County communities are essential for this planning process. Please participate in this survey – it should only take a few minutes of your time, and we value your input!

How does this help?

Jackson County Library District has contracted with Group 4 Architecture to develop a long-range plan for library facilities to ensure we are prepared to meet the evolving needs of our community. As our communities grow, and as your information needs change, we want to be sure that our physical spaces are designed to meet those needs.

The planning process has many parts. Consultants with Group 4 have visited all 15 branches in JCLS, talking with library management and evaluating the buildings on condition, service operations, and the customer experience. They are looking at demographic data – current and projected – as well as the District’s current Strategic Plan.

Over the next several months, we will seek community input in a variety of ways, including surveys, focus groups, and a day-long visioning session with community leaders. Group 4 will utilize all of the information they gather to draft recommendations and a plan for future library facility development.
