Medford, Oregon (May 19, 2022)—Medford resident Ben Truwe will present the Windows in Time lecture “The Seamy Side of Medford: 1884–1935” on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 from 12 Noon–1:00 p.m. in the Adams Room at the Medford Library, 205 South Central Avenue, and online via the Zoom video conferencing app. Truwe will share stories from the poorly documented underworld of Medford as well as readings from Medford’s vice surveys of the 1950s. All are welcome to attend this free lecture; registration is required. 

Ben Truwe is a recovering printer and a former trustee of the Southern Oregon Historical Society. He is the author of the “Looking Back” Jackson County history books and creator of the Southern Oregon History, Revised website.
