If you are a regular user or close follower of our digital offerings at JCLS, you might have noticed that our magazine service, Flipster, recently disappeared. This is not a glitch—we no longer offer magazines through Flipster. But despair not, digital devotee. As they say, when one door closes, another opens. In this case, the door has opened to 3,315 high-quality, diverse magazine offerings through Library2Go‘s Magazines Unlimited collection.

As of now, the way to access our digital magazines is through the home page of Library2Go. At the top of the page when you log in, you’ll see six featured titles, but click on “SEE ALL” to access thousands more. From there, if you look at the left-hand side of the page, you can filter the magazine results by availability, audience, date added, subject, and language.

Speaking of languages, the collection boasts titles in twenty-one different languages! The non-English language with the most offerings is Spanish at 218, but there are offerings for our patrons who speak Chinese, Arabic, Malay, and more. Whether you’re looking for “a quarterly fashion and style newspaper from Argentina” or “an investment medium, focusing on portfolio investment” from Indonesia, we have something for most everyone.

And that’s without even mentioning our niche offerings. Missing the Oregon Shakespeare Festival? Check out American Theatre. Are you an Anglophile, gardener, and nature lover? The quarterly Bloom might be just what you’re looking for. Or if, like me, you can’t get enough of all things food-related, I’d highly recommend the fantastic Saveur.

But where are Consumer Reports and People magazine? True, we no longer offer those two magazines in our digital collection, but we still offer both magazines in our physical collection. If you need them, we have you covered. You can find Consumer Reports here and People here.

So, now that you know all about our new magazine collection at Library2Go, the only thing left to do is for you to go find your new favorite magazine—on us.
