This means you can checkout and read or listen to titles on nearly any device you have, from a simple eReader to the latest iPad. There are over 35,000 titles to chose from and a collection of always available content, as well as some eBooks that you can keep forever.

Hoopla grants you access to a comprehensive catalog of movies, TV shows, music, eBooks, audiobooks and comics, ranging from major studios to indie artists and authors. Sometimes likened to "Netflix for libraries," Hoopla is the place to go for movie night and beyond.

Digitalia focuses on a variety of Spanish language content. Digitalia Public Libraries and Digitalia Film Libraries provide eBooks, feature films, and learning modules including language learning, classic children’s stories, music, and art. A highlight of the service is the Argentine, Brazilian, and Cuban cinema collections.

Gutenberg is the granddaddy of digitized content sites and offers over 56,000 free eBooks in multiple formats. They have a mobile site for easier browsing on phones and tablets.
SimplyE is a free, open-source app from the New York Public Library that allows access to thousands of public domain eBooks in an easy to browse, searchable format. You do not have to be an NYPL cardholder to use this feature, the first time you open the app simply choose Add a Library Later to get started. Note: Do not attempt to apply for a library card as the New York Public Library does not issue cards to non-residents.
