The Jackson County Library Foundation exists to help our libraries attain a level of excellence in facilities and services for the people of Jackson County. To do so, we offer a variety of giving opportunities and special events. The Foundation established its endowment fund to provide ongoing support for library collections, programs, technology, and enhancement needs. Please see our web site at www.jclf.org for ways to make a difference for future generations of Oregonians. We are continually developing our Board of Directors and invite your interest in working with us to achieve the mission of the organization. Contact Shelley Austin, Executive Director, at 541-774-6572.
Friends of the Library
Jackson County Friends of the Library organizations promote library services in their communities, advocate on behalf of libraries, and raise funds (often through used book sales) to help pay for special programs and services. Friends have sponsored author visits, book discussions, open houses, and summer reading programs. Friends welcome new members. Each branch has its own Friends of the Library organization. To join or get more information, contact your local library.
This volunteer organization works with Jackson County Library Services to extend our reach to children of our community through several wonderful programs. For information, contact the Storytelling Guild.
