Program Information: Spark a Reaction

The program starts as soon as school is out.

Area teens (ages 12-18) are invited to “Spark a Reaction” this year and join Jackson County Library Services’ Teen Summer Reading Program. Create a felted wool project, make a “fobot,” a lava lamp, or just come and hang out. The library offers free movies, art activities, and gaming days all summer long.

Teens who write a review of a book, graphic novel, audio or eBook, or library program can earn the chance to win one of fifteen $100 Barnes & Noble gift certificates as well as other prizes. Selected reviews will be posted on the Teen Reviews page of the library Web site.

Visit your local library to sign up and learn what’s happening in your community or download the Reading Log to get started!.

This program is sponsored by the Kenneth A. and Lucille D. Hulburt Family Trust and Friends of the Library groups throughout Jackson County.
