Why Summer Reading?
Join us for Summer Reading 2016 and discover great books, win cool prizes and attend exciting events! Summer Reading 2016 takes place from June 13 through August 9!
There is no better way to help children maintain their reading skills during summer vacation than by encouraging them to participate in a summer reading program. Your son or daughter can turn reading skills setbacks into reading skills gains by visiting the library regularly.
This year everyone is invited to get “On Your Mark, Get Set and READ!” by joining the summer program at any Jackson County library branch. The program includes special incentives, events and fun for children, teens and adults. Make summer reading a family sport this year -- see who can read the most!
Summer reading is supported by the Hulburt Trust and Friends of the Library groups throughout Jackson County. All programs are free of charge.
Registration begins as soon as school is out and it's FREE! The program ends August 7.
Visit any branch of the Jackson County Library to sign up.
