Gifts
A gift to the library enriches many lives and is a nice way for an individual, business, or organization to preserve the memory of a special person; to honor someone; to commemorate a special event; and to help the community.
Gifts may be cash, checks, or library materials. You may visit any branch to make your gift, or mail your donation to the Jackson County Library, 205 South Central Ave., Medford, Oregon 97501. For special projects, please consult with the Library Director, at 541-774-8679. All gifts are tax deductible.
Memorial books and gift books will receive a bookplate naming the person or occasion honored, and an announcement will be mailed to the person(s) you designate.
Bequests may be left to the Jackson County Library and may specify the purpose for which the funds are to be used.
Donations and bequests may also go to the Jackson County Library Foundation, see below.
Library Foundation
The Jackson County Library Foundation exists to help our libraries attain a level of excellence in facilities and services for the people of Jackson County. To do so, we offer a variety of giving opportunities and special events. The Foundation established its endowment fund to provide ongoing support for library collections, programs, technology, and enhancement needs. A permanent endowment furthers our public libraries' ability to meet the challenge of building a vibrant library system that maintains a high level of excellence. There are many options to support the activities in the libraries - please see our web site at www.jclf.org for ways to support your library and make a difference for future generations of Oregonians. We are continually developing our Board of Directors and invite your interest in working with us to achieve the mission of the organization. Contact Shelley Austin, Executive Director, at 541-774-6572.

Friends welcome new members. Each branch has its own Friends of the Library organization. To join or get more information, contact your local library or the individual Friends Group.
