Ashland: The Board of Directors for the Friends of the Ashland Public Library meets the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 5:15 p.m. in the Guanajuato Room at the Library. The annual meeting for members is held during the first quarter of the year at locations appropriate to the program. The Central Point Friends of the Library meet the first Wednesday of every month at 10:00 a.m. in the Central Point Branch Library. The Friends offer books for sale in the Library. They also hold a spring and a fall book sale. For more information regarding Friends projects, please contact the Central Point Library at 541-664-3228.
The Eagle Point Friends of the Library meets at 9:00 a.m. on the second Friday of each month at the Eagle Point Branch Library. We publish a newsletter every other month, and usually have a fall and spring booksale. The Friends have an on-going booksale in the branch and books range from $.50 to $5.00. Friends of the Gold Hill Library meet on the first Monday of every month at 3:00 p.m. at the Gold Hill Branch Library, 202 Dardanelles St. For more information call the Gold Hill Branch Library at 541-855-1644.
The Friends of the Jacksonville Library generally meet every month at the branch. The dates and times vary. Their Annual Book sale is held on the same weekend in September as the City of Jacksonville Garage Sale. The Board of the Friends of the Medford Library holds a business meeting September through June on the second Monday of the month from 1 - 2 p.m. in the Adams Room of the Medford Library, 205 South Central Avenue. Members and those interested in becoming members are welcome. The Friends of the Medford Branch Library have a book shop on the first floor of the library. Current hours are as follows:
- Monday - Tuesday 10 am - 4 pm
- Wednesday 10 am -5 pm
- Thursday 10 am -4 pm
- Friday - Saturday Noon - 4 pm
The Friends of the Phoenix Branch Library meet on the fourth Tuesday of every month at 4:15 p.m. in the Meyer Memorial Trust Community Meeting Room at the Library. Meetings and special events are posted on the Friends' bulletin board in the Library. For more information, please call 541-535-7090.
The Friends of the Prospect Library meets twice a year (to be determined) in the Prospect Branch Library. The friends hold a small ongoing booksale at the library. For more information call the Prospect Library at 541-560-3668.
The Rogue River Friends of the Library meet on the second Tuesday of each month, except during August and December, at 4:00 p.m. at the Rogue River Branch Library, 412 E. The Ruch Friends of the Library meet the first Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the Ruch Branch Library, 7919 Highway 238. The Shady Cove Friends of the Library meet on the first Tuesday of every month (except December, July, and August) at 6:00 p.m. at the Shady Cove Branch Library. The Talent Friends of the Library meet every fourth Friday at 1:30 p.m. in the Talent Branch Library. New members are welcome. Prices are very reasonable.
