Computer Classes: Overview

Free basic computer classes for adults are offered at your local library. Covers basics of computer use, email, internet, photo editing, computer management and tablets.

Free Basic Computer Classes

Sign up now for free Adult Basic Computer Classes offered at Jackson County libraries. All hands-on classes are bilingual (English and Spanish). Seating is limited and reservations are encouraged. Please call your local library branch to reserve a spot in any or all sessions. Classes are two hours each, once weekly for four weeks.

Basics I: Using the Mouse and Keyboard, Internet Navigation, Electronic Mail (E-mail), and Individualized Instruction and Practice. 
Basics II: Word Processing, Photo Editing, File Management, and Review and Practice. 
Basics III: Advanced Word Processing, Spreadsheets, Computer Management, and Internet Services.
Tablet: Learn to wield an electronic tablet, manage apps, and browse the web.
