SUSPENSION ROOF

The roof of the White City Branch is constructed like the Golden Gate Bridge, which is a suspension bridge. The roof of the library is suspended from two or more cables and anchored at the ends.

FRIENDS OF THE WHTE CITY LIBRARY

The White City Friends of the Library meet on the fourth Monday of every month from 6:15-7:30 p.m. at the White City Branch Library, 3143 Avenue C. The Friends operate a bookstore in the library entry hall which is open during regular library hours.
